About EcoActive

We on a mission to empower youth and transform communities.

EcoActive aims to Empower, Uplift and Upskill our communities through our various Positive Youth Development (PYD) programs.

Founded in 2014, EcoActive was set out with the purpose to tackle the adverse drowning statistics of our at-risk youth in our communities. Through our Watersmart interactive presentations and Learn-to-Swim initiatives in various underprivileged schools in Lavender Hill and Capricorn, we have grown to become a key roleplayer in increasing the awareness of water safety in at-risk youth.

Having identified the increasing dropout rates in the schools where the programs are conducted, in 2019, EcoActive launched the Dropout Prevention program in targeted learners to combat this critical crisis.

Life in the community is not easy and kids are exposed to social ills. The Play Learn Educate slogan, which are the three pillars of EcoActive, sums up what we would like to achieve.

We are dedicated to breaking cycles of hardship by fostering a culture of collaboration, compassion, and proactive change.

Through holistic initiatives, we aim to nurture mental well-being, cultivate essential skills, and create sustainable pathways for growth. By working hand-in-hand with communities, we strive to build a brighter, more equitable future where every individual has the tools and support needed to thrive.
